I became the son of Yuan Shu by traveling through the Three Kingdoms. Yuan Yao is the son of Yuan Shu. After Yuan Shu proclaimed himself emperor and was defeated, he initially attached himself to Liu Xun, the prefect of Lujiang. Liu Xun was defeated by Sun Ce, and Yuan Yao returned to Sun Ce. Later, Sun Quan came to power and betrothed his daughter to Yuan Yao's son, and Yuan Yao was appointed as a doctor.
