Lin Mu opens his eyes and finds himself on the battlefield at Cangyun Ridge in 1940, amid a hail of artillery fire. He's become the bandit chief known as “Blood Hawk,” under bombardment by the Japanese army! As unfamiliar memories flood his mind, the [War of Resistance Support System] activates with a bang. Newbie mission: Assist Li Yunlong's New First Regiment in defeating the Sakata Regiment!
Turning down Li Yunlong's offer to become a battalion commander, Lin Mu decides to lead his own force!
Armed with an elite special forces battalion and equipment far ahead of its time, courtesy of the System, he transforms a ragtag band of bandits into the Blood Hawk Army, a force that makes the Japanese tremble.
Decapitate Sakata and turn the tide at Cangyun Ridge! Launch a surprise attack on Ping'an County and cut off the enemy's retreat! Race to Pingyang Town and burn down the Japanese logistics base!
Li Yunlong asks to join forces, and Chu Yunfei sends equipment, but all Lin Mu wants is to build a stronghold of his own!
Lower rents and interest to win the people's support, train and expand the army into a formidable force, build a secret arsenal to produce artillery shells... When the Japanese gather a massive force, backed by planes and heavy guns, vowing to crush him once and for all, Lin Mu's gaze is sharp as an eagle's:
“You want to tear out my heart? Then use your blood to pay tribute to the battle flag of my Independent Blood Hawk Brigade! We still have a long road ahead, but this flag will stand! Blood Hawk spreads its wings, and the battle flag flies across northwestern Shanxi!”
