The Cicada's Wind Knows My Heart

Lu Zhiye lays his old school uniform on the ground, drops to one knee, and takes out that paper star from years ago.

Inside the star, it says: “May you grow wild and free throughout your life, and shine brilliantly in the end.” He had been her wish all those years ago.

Lu Zhiye draws a comic on the wall: a boy on a motorcycle and a girl wearing headphones.

As students gather to watch, Lin Xian smiles and introduces him: “This is my husband.”
