Hunting Wolves and Fighting Tigers: A Sweet Wife in the Mountain Village

At an archery range, Zhao Hu shoots himself with an arrow and becomes a young educated volunteer sent to the countryside in 1973, landing in Erdaogou Village at the foot of Changbai Mountain.

While others wear their hands raw doing hard labor and worry about earning work points, Zhao Hu uses a bow in his left hand to pierce a sika deer and a gun in his right to wipe out a wolf den. Even the Northeast tiger dies beneath his gun!

He follows an old hunter into the mountains and down to the river, and never comes home empty-handed. While others gnaw on cornmeal buns, Zhao Hu feasts on game and tiger-bone wine at every meal.

Chunyan, the pure-hearted village beauty who lives with him, secretly falls for him, while Banggeng, his sworn enemy in the compound, seethes with jealousy.

See how Zhao Hu, a young man from the city, uses his rifle to rule the mountains and wins the heart of a beauty, forging his own legend on Changbai Mountain!
