Cloudtang Addiction

A contemporary romance featuring intense heartbreak, a love triangle, a desperate pursuit to win back a husband, a sense of destiny, and the beauty of a tragic ending. At its heart, it uses the extremes of emotional tension and the pain of lives cut short to portray a profound bond where “love becomes an addiction, and pain becomes a scar.”

Title: Yun Tang Addiction

Heroine: Ruan Yuetang

Wen Yunzhou: A gentle, puppy-like man with a deep sense of destiny and a serious inferiority complex. He is physically and emotionally consumed by her.

(Shen Chuan): A friend, a self-sacrificing “green tea” type with a fragile aura. He knows how to retreat in order to advance and is good at making her feel sorry for him.

(Lin Yu): A domineering, two-faced, unhinged “green tea” type with an angelic face and extreme possessiveness. Gentle to her face, ruthless behind her back.

(Jiang Yan): A childhood friend who is no relation by blood, a loyal, puppy-like “green tea” type with a dark side. Insecure, he draws close by putting himself down.

"The Ultimate Dilemma and the Final Chapter of Life"

Ruan Yuetang is caught in a heart-rending dilemma: on one side is the frail, heavily guarded Wen Yunzhou, who needs her to make amends and love him deeply; on the other is Jiang Yan, whose life is in danger, who once gave her warmth and is waiting for her to stay by his side in his final days.

She struggles to go back and forth between them, exhausted in body and mind.

Jiang Yan eventually dies in Ruan Yuetang's arms, leaving behind eternal regret and pain.

Ruan Yuetang becomes pregnant with Wen Yunzhou's child, a faint glimmer of light in her despair.

For the sake of the baby, Wen Yunzhou finds one last reason to keep living and briefly embraces the happiness that came too late.

Yet fate's cruelty does not end there. After seeing his child born with his own eyes, Wen Yunzhou peacefully dies in Ruan Yuetang's arms, fulfilling his destiny to “protect” her and leaving behind an everlasting sense of loss.
