[Older woman-younger man romance] [Dumping a scumbag] [Business battles] [Strong female lead, strong male lead]
Du Jing is known in the headhunting industry as its “Queen Excavator.” She had hoped to marry her longtime fiancé and watch their company go public, enjoying success in both love and business. But at a critical moment in fundraising, he cheated on her and stabbed her in the back. No matter: dumping the scumbag and enjoying the success of taking her company public as its founder is even better.
She never expected that her handsome assistant would turn out to be her “mortal enemy,” the owner of the unicorn company she's been trying to poach from, and the heir to a major corporation. Watching him share an apartment with her, cook for her, and show off his handsome face and eight-pack abs, while casually picking her up with one arm and acting like a big puppy in private, she decides that maybe dating a younger man isn't such a bad idea.
Xie Anyang had planned to go undercover at Du Jing's company to see what kind of old witch kept poaching his employees. Instead, he watched her tear into her scumbag ex, lead her company to an IPO, and make it an industry leader. She can be a little absentminded in her personal life, as if all her cleverness goes into work. Before long, he's willingly cooking, cleaning, and tucking her in, all in one package. Maybe letting his wife lead him to success isn't such a bad deal after all.
