This story takes place in a cultivation world called the Spirit Fantasy Continent. The continent is vast and boundless, surrounded by an endless ocean. It is divided into four great regions: Dongsheng Shenzhou, Nanzhan Buzhou, Xiniu Hezhou, and Beiju Luzhou. Each region has its own terrain and resources, giving rise to numerous cultivation sects, clans, and mortal kingdoms. At the heart of the Spirit Fantasy Continent lies a mysterious place in the void known as the Spirit Void Realm. It opens once every hundred years, containing endless opportunities but also filled with danger. Only cultivators who have reached a certain level of power are eligible to enter.
Su Yao: The protagonist. Orphaned at a young age, she makes a living selling spirit herbs in Linggu Town. Lively, forthright, kind, and brave, she has three spiritual roots (water, fire, and wood) and joins the Qingfeng Sect to cultivate. As she grows stronger, she carries the grand aspiration of helping others and vows to change some of the cultivation world's unjust practices. She has a unique understanding of wood-element techniques, excels at controlling plants, and possesses some healing abilities.
Lin Yu: Like Su Yao, he is from Linggu Town, where famine has made life difficult. He initially has mixed spiritual roots, but with Su Yao's help, he struggles to improve them. Strong-willed and proud, he works hard to become powerful, hoping to fight alongside Su Yao and protect those around him. As he grows, he gradually reveals exceptional combat talent and wisdom.
Ye Xingchen: The leader of the Qingfeng Sect. Graceful and devoted to the greater good, he takes responsibility for preserving the sect's legacy and protecting the people nearby. He gives dedicated guidance to promising disciples such as Su Yao. He cultivates the Qingfeng Sect's signature technique, the Qingfeng Sword Art.
