Record of Nine Reincarnations: Forbidden Divine Godhead

[Sharingan from the Start: I Fight My Way Back to the Sect]

Ling Chen was the once-in-a-thousand-years genius of Qingyun Sect, a beloved inner disciple who had been the center of attention just yesterday. Today, they pinned him down in front of the sect and crippled his spiritual meridians before everyone.

"His spiritual meridians are completely destroyed. Keeping him around would only waste resources. Throw him into Fallen Spirit Valley!"

At the Great Elder's command, they tossed him like a dead dog into a forbidden wasteland littered with demon beast bones. With blood blurring his vision, he thought he was doomed, until his eye sockets suddenly began to burn.

When he opened his eyes again, his pupils had become dark purple vortices.

They were the forbidden Sharingan.

One glance at the bones on the ground sent fragments of a former-life war god's memories flooding into his mind. One look at his crippled spiritual meridians revealed traces of someone having poisoned them with a Meridian-Eroding Gu!

But before he could even celebrate, his pursuers arrived.

"Those eyes are the key to breaking through! Capture him, gouge out his eyes and crush his bones. That forbidden treasure must not survive!"

The once-kindly elder sneered, sword in hand, as fellow disciples closed in, greed filling their eyes.

Ling Chen wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, killing intent surging in his scarlet eyes:

"You want to gouge out my eyes?"

"Then ask the sword in my hand if it'll let you!"
