The Apocalypse's Unhinged Squad: Every Mental Patient Is a Conceptual God

[Ensemble Cast] [No Female Lead] [Not a Goody-Two-Shoes] When an apocalyptic virus drags the world into madness, a group of outcasts branded as "mentally ill" become the unexpected survivors.

Zhao Qing obsessively talks to plants. Wang Lei can hear gears crying. Chen Mo measures safety in numbers. And Wang Haoyun is always unlucky, yet comes with a built-in "Lucky Buff"... Armed with their "absurd abilities," mocked by society, they band together to survive among ruins echoing with zombie roars.

A red cord in a sunflower field binds a promise to stay alive. Moonlight grass in an abandoned hospital conceals secrets left untold. A drifting island of garbage may hide the parts that could bring salvation. And behind the white coats at the naval base lurks a human nature more monstrous than the zombies. They have fought ruthless looters, evaded swimming zombies in the deep sea, found their way through the whispers of plants, and used their unusual hearing to unravel traps. The very traits once dismissed as "symptoms" have become their sharpest weapons for survival in the apocalypse.

This is not an epic about heroes saving the world. It's the story of a bunch of "crazies" finding little joys amid despair. While the sane succumb to the darkness, they piece together a glimmer of light from one another's madness and press on through the wreckage of order, all to plant a field of sunflowers at the end and tell the world: Even if life is absurd, keep reaching for the light.
