The night is a silver blade, piercing my soul. Do you long for the dark embrace of black velvet? Come, let me pour this dirge of Vitray blood into your mortal veins. Drink deep: this legacy is more profound than shattered stars, more burdensome than the crown forged from my father's ashes. It binds me to the shadows, to an obsidian throne steeped in the sin of parricide... and binds me to you, Milos, my eternal light and my chains.

While humanity trembled before plague and the stake, the Vitray Dynasty branded its crest upon our souls. We are the architects of a silent world: nobles clad in midnight velvet, gliding through ballrooms where crystal chandeliers weep and liquid rubies ripple in goblets. Yet even the immortal bleed. My uncle Grays, with an ambition colder than a vampire's kiss, tore eternity apart. His treacherous blade reduced the resolute Prince Noah to ashes upon the throne. My mother, Elise, drove a dagger into her heart, choosing the long sleep over a crownless dawn. Wrapped in a cloak soaked in royal blood, I, the infant Xie'er, became a ghost nourished by exile.

Milos's hand trembles in mine, while Vitray blood of the night surges through my veins. The bloodstained rings offered by Strass and Ian whisper of annihilating power.

The night grows deeper, my dear. Can you hear the wolves howling of the storm to come?

The Vitray never beg for dawn. We are the eternal night itself...
