"Camel Bells Treading on the Sand" tells the story of Ma Xiao, an orphan in the Hexi Corridor in the 1890s, who grew up from a hungry wolf who snatched half a sheepskin to a camel team owner who protected the trade routes. Using a camel as his feet and a sheepskin as his blade, he struggled with the wind and sand and his heart: learning to tan leather, fighting robbers, protecting his loved ones, and writing legends on the Gobi business road. The collision of skills from the north and the south, and the confrontation between good and evil in human nature, finally made the camel bell and original intention ring forever in the Hexi Corridor.

I read from the first chapter to the fifth chapter. The writing is simple but not crude, the narrative is clear, and the storyline is interlocking.
