Broken Moon Recycler

After the moon shattered, the gravitational imbalance caused a "moon shadow tide" on the earth. At midnight every night, everyone will have 3 seconds more memory of themselves from a parallel universe. The government hired "recyclers" to erase these memories, but a female recycler discovered that every time she performed a task, there would be a moonlight scar on her wrist that was invisible to others.
