16-Year-old Xiaoxing lives an ordinary life in Stardust Town. He is full of love for Pokémon but dare not become a trainer because of the shadow of his father's disappearance, until he meets the injured Charmander.
Xiaoxing rescued and tamed this abandoned Charmander, and found that it was different - it could understand human language and had special fire abilities, which became the starting point of his adventure.
Encouraged by her mother and childhood sweetheart Xiaoguang, Xiaoxing decided to participate in the Pokémon League challenge and took Charmander on the journey to become a Pokémon master.
On the way to the first gym, Xiaoxing encountered an attack by the mysterious organization "Shadow Group". They seemed to have some plot against Little Flame's special ability.
