[Dual heroines]+ [Ensemble cast]+ [Group transmigration]+ [Ice queen]+ [Cultivation]+ [Genius]
During a museum field trip, Lin Yanqiu and six childhood friends touched an ancient jade pendant and were swept into the Cultivation world by a flash of white light, all of them turned back into five-year-old children.
Orphaned Lin Yanqiu was adopted by the master of Lingxiao Peak. After ten years of diligent cultivation, she formed her Golden Core at sixteen, becoming one of the youngest Golden Core cultivators in the sect.
At the sect's recruitment ceremony, she recognized her lost friends among the newcomers. They had transmigrated too, and after wandering through the mortal world, had found their way onto the path of immortality through fortunate encounters. Tears and delight mingled as they reunited, and all six joined Lingxiao Peak.
During an expedition, Lin Yanqiu met the princess Meng Huaichao, the woman she would spend her life with.
When they first met, Meng Huaichao was seventeen, poised and otherworldly, with beauty enough to captivate a kingdom. Even the aloof Lin Yanqiu couldn't help taking a second look.
At the time, Lin Yanqiu's mission was to exorcise the evil spirit haunting Meng Huaichao's father. The emperor had been tormented by it for three months, and the empress had fallen ill as well. Her little brother was still very young, so Meng Huaichao handled all affairs of state. Decisive in her methods, she was branded a harbinger of disaster, though everything she did benefited the people.
She shed no tears over the rumors, but when she saw her father suffering and struggling, she wanted to rush to him. Lin Yanqiu stopped her and held her in her arms.
Unable to break free, Meng Huaichao simply cried herself to sleep in her embrace, still clinging tightly to her waist. Lin Yanqiu gently soothed her: “Be good, let's go back and sleep. I'll carry you back, all right?”
Only then did Meng Huaichao let go.
Afterward, the emperor and empress recovered and returned to governing. At eighteen, Meng Huaichao joined Lin Yanqiu's sect, beginning a beautiful romance...
It's good to read, but it's a little lacking. It's a good-looking book about group portraits about cultivating immortals. Each of the protagonists has their own style. I haven't seen any bad points or flaws so far. Good luck to the author.
