Tu’er Ye was once the rowdiest troublemaker in the Moon Palace. He stole immortal peaches and teased the gods, until the Queen Mother of the West kicked him down to the mortal realm, where he landed on Qin Chen, the sole surviving heir of the Han clan dynasty.
Years later, the martial world knows him as “the walking troublemaker.” Tu Ye roams the streets with Qin Chen, a young man as beautiful as an immortal but blind.
Whenever the people hear about this duo, they grit their teeth:
“That rabbit! He stole my chicken, swindled me out of my wine, and even took my kid’s candied hawthorn!”
Listening to the grumbling around them, Qin Chen gently strokes the ruffled rabbit in his arms. “Causing trouble again?”
Tu’er Ye sticks out his chest. “They just don’t understand my style! Back in the Moon Palace…”
Then one day, Laozi descends from the heavens with a bolt from the blue: “The Mythic Continent faces an apocalyptic calamity. Tu’er Ye, you are destined to face it. You must find the twelve others who share your destiny to avert disaster.”
Tu’er Ye immediately leaps up. “Bullshit! Go do it yourself. I still have to sit in the sun with my little blind guy!”
Laozi smiles faintly. “Qin Chen’s life is tied to this calamity, too.”
Tu’er Ye: “…Fuck.”
And so, a man and a rabbit are forced to set out on a journey to find the others.
One by one, those destined to face the calamity gravitate toward the rabbit: a proud crown prince of the Dragon Clan, an adorably clueless underworld judge, the sworn enemy of the Han clan dynasty…
Four voices from the heavens secretly offer advice:
“Brat, that guy to the east needs a good kicking. Give him one for me!” (Sun Wukong)
“Tu Ye, the pork knuckles at the inn up ahead look great. Save some for me!” (Zhu Bajie)
“There’s a demon ahead. Be careful.” (Sha Wujing)
“Amitabha. All things have a spirit… Tu’er Ye, please show mercy.” (Tang Seng)
Ah, this, this, this… The subject matter is really well written, but the writing style still needs to be refined, but the writing is already very good. Come on, work hard to update~ I really recommend reading this book. I feel that the rating in the future will not be too low because it is really well written. There is a certain spirituality in the writing... Hope to see it and update soon~ If I have a chance later, I will still review it~
