Apocalypse Descends: I Thrive as Both Human and Zombie

[Strong female lead / zombies / mutations / conspiracy / sci-fi]

On the day of the school anniversary, a sudden downpour trapped everyone inside the teaching building.

The entire school lost power. A teacher collapsed in the hallway, blood streaming from his neck, then suddenly sprang up again!

Everyone hurried into the classrooms. Watching the bloody chaos outside, despair crossed every face.

How could they escape a campus overrun with zombies?

Just as the genius girl Yu Poyin was about to break through the campus gates, falling cargo slammed her out of the vehicle, and zombies instantly swarmed over her.

When she opened her eyes again, she was astonished to discover she was still conscious.

But she soon realized she wasn’t alive: she had become a zombie.

She couldn’t escape the bloodlust and savagery caused by her genetic mutation.

The usually cool and gentle girl had been abruptly dragged into an abyss, transformed into a monster incapable of staying calm.

Yu Poyin couldn’t accept it.

She locked herself inside the school with all the other zombies.

Every day, she shut herself in a windowless storage room and waited for death.

Until one day

Crash! The door was kicked open, and sunlight poured in.

The boy knelt before her and pulled her into his arms. He brought the vein at his neck, pulsing with warm blood, to her lips, his expression desperate and ruthless.

“Yu Poyin, eat me.”

In this living hell, I am your only believer.
