After ten thousand years of cultivation, the nine realms form a ladder. Drawing in qi, refining qi, establishing the foundation... Golden Core, Nascent Soul, Spirit Transformation... Tribulation Transcendence, Great Ascension, Ascension!
Chen Fan is a poor, abandoned son with a mixed constitution and a meager spiritual root. He starts at the very bottom as a menial disciple. Faced with the sect’s infighting, the great clans’ monopoly, and a dead end for those without talent, he has only an ancient, crude fragment of a cultivation art with a mysterious origin. Watch how this boy rises from the lowly ranks of mortal life: sensing qi and drawing it into his body against all odds, refining qi into essence between life and death, and establishing his foundation to forge his Dao from humble beginnings!
When forming his Golden Core brings down nine layers of heavenly punishment, he will defy the tribulation with one hand! When conceiving his Nascent Soul brings the heart demons of ages upon him, he will shatter the illusions with a single thought! When pursuing Spirit Transformation brings the Great Dao’s rejection, he will unite with the Dao and open a path forward! When the Ascension tribulation brings eternal annihilation, watch how he treads across mountains of corpses and seas of blood, breaks ten thousand arts with a single sword, tempers his immortal body through nine tribulations, and soars into the heavens to knock upon the legendary Gate of Heaven!
“The first seven realms are about cultivating the truth; the final three are about defying heaven!” A path to eternal life that defies heaven, strewn with thorns and bones, and an age-old legend of a lowly mortal who shatters the firmament!
