Livestream: We've Reached Luoyang, and Zhang Jue Wants to Retreat

Zhang Liang is a small-time streamer who transmigrates to the late Han dynasty during the Three Kingdoms era, becoming Zhang Jiao’s third brother, Zhang Liang.

He soon realizes this isn’t quite the Three Kingdoms he remembers.

It seems more like the history of a parallel world. Tang Zhou never betrayed the Yellow Turbans, Ma Yuanyi didn’t meet a gruesome end, and the Yellow Turban Rebellion is unfolding according to plan.

With the force of a thunderbolt, Zhang Jiao leads two hundred thousand Yellow Turban troops through Hulao Pass, their swords pointed straight at Luoyang.

But fate has other plans. Zhang Jiao suddenly falls ill and can no longer command the army.

Zhang Liang is left to take charge.

His subordinates suggest a temporary retreat and making Ye the capital, where they can stand as an equal to the Han court.

Zhang Liang is still hesitating when the viewers in his livestream chat erupt.

“Why go back to Ye? Going back is just a slow death.”

“Streamer, don’t retreat! If you do, it’s over. Learn from the Taiping Rebellion.”

“You’ve already made it to Luoyang, and now you want to retreat? I’ll unfollow you if you do.”

Zhang Liang takes their advice and immediately orders, “Anyone who suggests retreating again will be executed by me.”
