Core Premise:
In the Profound Azure Realm, where immortals, demons, humans, and yaoguai live side by side, there is a secret scroll called the Immortal-Slaying Tome that can alter the laws of Heaven's Way. Legend says its bearer can slay immortals and destroy gods, but the tome can also turn on its owner, making them a target for everyone. The protagonist, Lu Jiukeng, appears to be a slick-talking, show-off cultivator from the streets, but he secretly holds the key to lifting the tome's curse. On his quest to uncover the truth behind it, he joins a band of oddball friends. They pull pranks on one another and make a farce of everything, even as they become embroiled in a shocking conspiracy spanning all three realms.
