Wang Dangwu is the director of a nursing home. At the age of 64, he is diagnosed with a terminal illness. He has someone donate his savings to a school and sells the property in his name to buy a plot in a cemetery.

When it comes time to choose an heir to the nursing home, he finds himself in a quandary.

With no children of his own, he doesn't want to hand the nursing home over to someone else.

After emerging from the ICU once more, a System suddenly appears.

His very first task is to get someone to call him Dad.

So the deputy director, who used his savings to keep his mistress, becomes his target.

After successfully completing the task, Wang Dangwu becomes younger and more handsome.

To keep running the nursing home, Wang Dangwu writes a will, leaving it to himself! In a moment of madness, he even names his imaginary son Wang Dangwu.

Now that he has the nursing home, what is he supposed to do about the nurse auntie and his rich fiancée?

Now that he has the nursing home, what about the childhood betrothal between him and his best friend's child?

Now that he has the nursing home, what should he do about all those people who call him Grandpa, Uncle, or Big Brother?

Now that he has the nursing home, what about his former colleagues, relatives, and friends?

The nursing home becomes the source of Wang Dangwu's growing power, as its retirees provide him with a steady stream of System rewards.

He keeps getting money from his rich wife to upgrade the nursing home.

And so the greatest kept man in history is born.

Of course, Wang Dangwu isn't completely useless. He's strong, can cook and keep his wife warm, and can provide her with powerful resources to make money.

My dad died from the start, and now my rich auntie wants me to help her take off!
