A Lovelorn Saint's Hilarious Road to Growth

Ye Xiaoshuai is an ordinary young man who treats his family heirloom, The Love Master's Secret Manual, as gospel. Convinced he was born with a natural gift for flirting, he keeps trying to put it into practice, only to turn himself from a “love master” into a “comedy guy.” He practices his smoldering gaze on the cafeteria lady and gets an extra scoop of rice. He helps his buddy pursue his dream girl, only for her to pursue him instead. He tries bringing breakfast to work and ends up feeding everyone a faceful of couple's sweetness. And when he finally meets the one, he makes himself memorable by nearly burning down the kitchen, bringing white chrysanthemums, and banging his head on a table corner.

This is a coming-of-age story that'll have you laughing until you crow, as well as a romance about how “clichés can take a hike, and sincerity wins.” After all, who hasn't done a few things in their youth that seemed cool at the time but later made them want to crawl into a hole?
