College student Qi Xia receives a mysterious URL and invitation code, “6n9ywwe3.” Driven by curiosity, he enters a virtual reality game called “Dimensional Rift,” unaware that it will change his life forever. Qi Xia experiences surreal adventures in the game, only to discover that injuries sustained in the game are reflected on his real body, and that the game item “Memory Crystal” has appeared in the real world as well. At the library, Qi Xia meets Su Yuqing, a psychology graduate student who received the same invitation. They discover that their experiences in the game are remarkably similar and decide to work together to investigate the truth behind it. They uncover clues that a secret organization called the “World Observers” may be behind the game, apparently using it to select and test specific people. When Qi Xia and Su Yuqing decide to investigate further, threats from the game begin to spill into the real world. A mysterious man in black appears outside Qi Xia’s apartment, hinting that a much larger conspiracy is unfolding.
