A Steampunk Journey

[Adventure + Combat + Steampunk World + Historical Figures + Western Fantasy + Magic]

There is nothing left. The once-prosperous world created by steam engines has been dragged into the abyss of war by an organization armed with advanced technology. Peace and prosperity have vanished from the lands of the Juerzi Empire.

Pargas, the protagonist, is also a victim of the war. After his hometown is destroyed, he takes on a new identity just to make ends meet.

The empire is on the verge of falling, yet many people remain stranded on the shore, watching the last ship bound for the distant East disappear over the horizon.

The joint plan to rescue the refugees seems utterly unreliable.

Without the protection of a sufficient military force, this emergency escort, selected from among volunteers, sets out with a faint glimmer of hope, accompanying a group of homeless refugees to a place to call home on the other side of the world.

The magical elements will become more prominent as the story progresses.

I forgot to add the Western fantasy tag.
