The Little King of the Late Ming: From the Start, I Save My Liege at Jiugong Mountain!

[Late Ming] + [Slay the Tartars]

I wake up to find myself at Jiugong Mountain at the end of the Ming dynasty!

I am Li Laiheng, and rebel king Li Zicheng is about to be defeated and killed. The Great Shun army is on the verge of collapse.

No! I can’t let the ideal of “Welcome the rebel king, pay no grain tax” be buried here!

The Tartars are entering the pass, the Han people are falling into ruin, and countless laments and rivers of tears and blood begin right here.

This time, I, Li Laiheng, will use a modern man’s ingenuity and all my passion to defy fate and change our destiny!

First, I’ll save the rebel king, then restore the army’s morale and turn the scattered rebels into battle-hardened troops. I’ll join forces with Zhang Xianzhong, persuade the Southern Ming, and unite everyone who can be united.

What? Li Zicheng is stubborn and self-willed? Then I’ll make him shut up with a resounding victory!

What? Zhang Xianzhong is brutal and bloodthirsty? Then I’ll use shared interests and a promise of a better future to make him a reliable ally!

What? The Southern Ming lords never stop fighting among themselves? Then I’ll keep fighting until they’re willing to sit down and talk!

I’ll plant the Great Shun banners across the land! I’ll make the banner bearing the character “Chuang” the Han people’s last hope!

Tartars, traitors, enemies of the nation, your end has come!
