——A dark cyberpunk fairy tale about twisted family love, genetic sin and the warmth of ruins.
In the "Night City", a steel behemoth corroded by neon and acid rain, survival itself is already a purgatory. Aibika Red Tail, a mercenary who refused to undergo prosthetic transformation and only relied on her original body and keen instincts to wander on the edge of darkness, has long been accustomed to smoke and blood. One cold rainy night, deep in a dirty garbage heap, she was stopped by a baby's cry from escaping. That was no ordinary baby - abyss-like red pupils, skin covered with fine scales, and a stubborn black horn prototype on the forehead - an orphan of a "demon" that only existed in taboo legends and extermination orders.
Against all reason, Abika wrapped the "trouble" named Lirela in her faded red scarf and brought her back to the crisis-ridden dwelling. Lirela's growth rate is frightening, and inhuman power surges through her body, like a bomb that is ready to explode at any time. What's even more deadly is that the cold giant who rules the "Glass Tower" has never stopped sweeping away the demons. And Abika's "pure physical" anomaly also attracted the covetous attention of greedy "audiences", pushing her into a dangerous "observation cage."
These two sisters with very different identities cling to each other in despair: Abika uses her scarred body to build a fragile fortress for Lirela, guiding her to harness the power of the abyss under the starlight of the wasteland; Lirela uses her ignorant but hot dependence to melt Aibika's frozen heart and become her only light in the darkness.
"When the abyss opens its red eyes,
The red tail of the beast-eared mercenary is her only beacon. "
