The transmigrator Li Ke opens his eyes to find himself the most miserable pawn in history: Lao Ai! With his impending death by dismemberment staring him in the face, he panics: Help! The Queen Dowager's bed is scorching my backside!
To stay alive, he decides to cling to the future First Emperor of Qin! From then on, life in the Xianyang Palace takes a bizarre turn:
He uses his "Confucian brawling lingo" to hoodwink the future emperor into becoming a ruler for the ages!
He casually tosses out poems from later generations, posing as a rising literary star: "This poem? Oh, I came up with it while stargazing last night!"
He even founds the "School of Mind" to hoodwink... no, enlighten the elite of the Great Qin: "Follow your heart! Good conscience is something we all have!"
And so, he takes the Qin war machine to a whole new level:
The Six Kingdoms? Conquered! The Xiongnu? Kicked aside! Those little islands? All brought under our banner!
Once the largest territory in history has been secured, he nudges the domineering First Emperor: "Zheng, we've finished the job. How about we sneak off and farm together?"
This is the heartwarming (?) tale of a lazy man transmigrated into a "villain," who defies fate with smooth talk (poetry) and the School of Mind (bullshitting), while turning the cold, young Zheng into a thoughtful little sweetheart (crossed out) an emperor for the ages, before retiring happily after accomplishing everything!
I clicked in thinking it would be an outrageous family ethics drama, but after listening to almost 20 chapters, I felt a strong sense of déjà vu. Although it is not what I thought, it feels good, but it is unlikely to have two "cannon-breaking" sons like in history. I can't help it. How could I want to see Ying Zheng defeated? Am I not the daughter of the First Emperor's dream? My composition is so complicated... Overall, it's really good-looking. The only drawback is that it's not very cool. It's not the mainstream kind. Come on, author, even though it was already finished when I saw it, haha 🤭
It's a very good novel, but no one has read it
