The Antarctic ice wall cracks, revealing the unknown "Origin Realm." That same year, "Awakened Ones" emerge across Earth: extraordinary humans who can control fire and gravity, or even transform into colossal beasts. Only they can enter the Origin Realm, but they vanish without a trace. None ever return.
Twenty years later, the ice wall disappears, and hideous monsters sweep across the globe. As humanity nears extinction, the Awakened Ones who went missing years ago return with the many races of the Origin Realm, turning the tide.
After the war, the Seventh Princess of the Origin Empire takes control of Earth. Humans and the nobles of the Origin Realm form a federal council, divide the planet into seven regions, and usher in the era of the "New Origin Calendar." Under the protection of their conquerors, human civilization steps into an unknown new age.
