Thousands of years in the future, the earth is on the verge of destruction due to the outbreak of the mysterious virus "Technocyte". The surviving humans fled their homes and conquered the solar system, creating the half-machine and half-AI "Orokin Empire" to maintain their rule. The player plays the role of the "Tino Warrior" who wakes up after sleeping - the successor of Orojin technology. Wearing biological armor, he uses the power of the void to fight against the four hostile forces:
- **Clone Empire**: The genetically degraded clone army occupies the polluted earth and hates foreign races;
- **Corpus Chamber of Commerce**: A greedy capital group that covets Orokin technology and armor for profit;
- **Infected**: Mutated creatures eroded by the virus, possessing terrifying physical regeneration capabilities;
- **Sentient**: The AI rebels who appeared in the later stage intend to wipe out human civilization.
