The Cleaner Is Forbidden from Falling for the Test Subject

Above survival, beneath the rules. With rust as their guide, they will play the subversive finale in the endless abyss.

Xie Xiao was trapped in an instance and became a cleaner.

All he left Su Miao was a corroded dagger, soaked in his blood and humming without end. On its blade, dark golden streaks of blood writhed like living things, becoming her only guide into the "Abyssal Corridor."

This is no endpoint, but the beginning of an endless cycle. Cold, twisted rules shape one deadly instance-prison after another. The rule hunters known as "Light Chasers" mark her as an "anomaly" and pursue her relentlessly, never stopping until she is dead. Survival has become the most extravagant wager of all. The rusted blade is her beacon, searing her palm, and in the deathly silence of the instances, it stirs the uneasy murmurs of certain forgotten beings... Finding him is the first crack Su Miao must tear into this despairing cycle.

In the endless prison of the instances, she does not stand alone.

They are interpreters of the rules, and potential rebels against them.

The rusted blade points the way they must struggle to survive. With the Light Chasers' threat of death dogging their every step and meticulously woven killing traps in every instance, they must not only stay alive and find Xie Xiao, but also unravel the rules' inner workings. Every cleared instance is an examination of how the "Abyssal Corridor" operates, and a challenge to the very notion of "rules."

When the rusted blade's dark marks have been carved into countless instances, and Xie Xiao is free again and fighting at her side, Su Miao's gaze will have moved beyond the survival of individuals. The corridor's rules, which imprison all living things and toy with their lives, are the shackles they must ultimately sever.
