I Opened a Listening Post in the Imperial Palace

Witty and humorous, lighthearted and silly, a little absurd, palace intrigue (the physical kind), a pseudo-technical approach, tempting food, and relationships built through eavesdropping hacks.

Lin Miaomiao: A modern office worker who accidentally transmigrates into the body of a little palace maid in the Cold Palace. Desperate to survive, with an unusual imagination and a talent for snark. She has a powerful modern eavesdropping device kit with solar charging (barely enough to keep it going) and data analysis (the basic version). Her core skills: gathering information, analyzing data, reading the room, making things up, and roasting sweet potatoes (the only ancient survival skill she can actually show off).

The story of Lin Miaomiao, a modern good-for-nothing palace maid, who uses eavesdropping technology to go from an inconsequential nobody on the fringes of the Cold Palace to an invisible powerhouse in the imperial palace. She resolves crises and stirs up the court amid hilarious daily antics, finds time for a romance (?), and eventually retires after accomplishing her goals.
