Fake and Real Heiresses: The Real Heiress Thrives on Her Own in the Jianghu

While climbing a mountain, modern-day girl Wang Lingling grabs the ankle of someone who has slipped and is clutching at the air below. They both tumble off the cliff. When she wakes up, she has become Shen Qingyang of the Zhenyang Escort Agency. By then, her parents are both dead.

Ten years later, the Jingyang Marquis’s household discovers that its legitimate eldest daughter is not of legitimate birth, but is the daughter of the concubine Liu Wanwan. The household’s wet nurse had switched her own legitimate daughter with the Marquis’s true-born daughter, then thrown the real heiress out of the manor. She was rescued by the Shen couple, who were unable to have children.

Before the wet nurse dies, she reveals the switch. The Jingyang Marquis’s household wants to bring Shen Qingyang back, but she refuses. However, her birth mother has become desperately ill from longing for her and has little time left, so Shen Qingyang has no choice but to return to the capital.
