Yama, who has been in charge of the underworld for thousands of years, was forced to retire because his "performance was not up to standard." He took the pseudonym of Lao Zhou and worked as a security guard in the human community.
I wanted to settle down and fish, but I found that there were all kinds of monsters hiding in the community (the fox demon at the express delivery point, the landlady who led the square dance), and even a wealthy man who had expired but relied on magic to stay alive was acting as a monster in the community.
Lao Zhou was forced to return to his "old business", using the rules of the underworld to reorganize the order of the world and solve neighborhood conflicts among community owners. He changed from a despised "weird old man" to a "patron saint" that everyone relied on.
Absolute rules cannot warm life, and absolute emotions will subvert order. Real protection requires maintaining warmth in order and maintaining the bottom line in understanding.
