An indifferent programmer with a blood feud is forced to bind a malicious system to repair the world line loopholes in the collapsed multiverse. Gradually, he discovers that all time-travelers are "batteries" being fed. He joins forces with the awakened AI and the mysterious supervisor to overturn the conspiracy of the fast-travel bureau.
