Hey! Miss, Do You Still Remember Me?

This novel is based on the first half of my life. It is fairly realistic, and many of the events are things I experienced myself, though, of course, I’ve embellished a lot to avoid getting censored.

It mainly tells of the different kinds of women I met in my life and what they brought me…

Liu Dagang is my full name, Liu Erge is my nickname, Sanwazi is what my family called me as a child, and Deng Qiang is the name my godfather gave me. I’ve had several breakdowns over my names alone.

Have you ever truly been loved?

Sex isn’t love.

A hug isn’t love.

A date isn’t love.

Talking all day and night isn’t love, either.

What is love?

First, let go of your expectations for the perfect partner.

Learn to love an ordinary, genuine person.

Mutual acceptance makes love last, and both people reaching for each other gives it meaning.

There are no two people who are simply made for each other from the start.

Instead, one learns to be understanding and accommodating, while the other knows when to stop.

A confession is about expressing your feelings, not demanding something in return.

Making your relationship public, being faithful, and avoiding ambiguity are the bare minimum when you love someone, not bonus points.

Don’t say hurtful things in anger to the person you love, don’t say the opposite of what you mean, and above all, don’t stop talking.

There’s no conflict that can’t be resolved, only truths left unsaid.

Someone who truly loves you will be the first to back down, then wait until you’ve calmed down before teaching you how to handle the world.

Because more than winning or losing, they care about how you feel.
