My Lord Grand Tutor, Please Teach Me

In the capital of the Great Zhou Dynasty, Yan Yunluo, the General's second daughter, easily defeats several servants at the training grounds, demonstrating her remarkable martial arts skills. But her father punishes her because she can't recite the Analects. At court, the emperor worries that the Crown Prince's studies are progressing too slowly. The chancellor recommends the newly appointed top scholar, Qi Zixiao, the youngest tutor at the Hanlin Academy, to serve as the Crown Prince's tutor. On her father's orders, Yan Yunluo attends the imperial palace's spring banquet. To escape a dull poetry contest, she climbs a tree and sees several young ladies pestering Qi Zixiao while he struggles to get away. Yan Yunluo jumps down to "rescue" him, but lands so forcefully that she knocks him into the lake. She has no choice but to jump in and save him when she discovers he can't swim. Their first meeting is full of comedy, a clash between letters and martial arts.
