Forging Blood into Talismans

On a frigid night at Zhenmo Pass, the instant demonic claws tore through the city wall, the young Lin Fu watched a commander spill his blood essence over a battered military talisman. “As long as this talisman stands, the pass stands!”

As blood-red light flared, the talisman flew into Lin Fu’s palm. The Blood Talisman power awakened, and he drove his spear through a demon general’s throat. But before the carnage had even cooled, a sinister laugh came from deep within the pass. “Sacrifice the entire city’s soldiers and civilians to open the passage to the demon realm. It’s worth it!”

With the bloodstained talisman clutched in his left hand and a broken spear in his right, Lin Fu roared through the fire and blood: “I’m not defending a pass. I’m protecting the homes and hearths behind me!”

The Blood Talisman can depict “Mountain Suppression” to shake mountains, or “Wind Splitter” to cleave the sky. But when a traitor joined forces with a demon commander and cornered him at the formation, he realized that the true enemy was never the demons. It was the greed hidden in humanity’s heart.

In the end, he set the talisman into the formation’s core and used his last drop of blood to extinguish the demonic flames, only to be swallowed by a spatial rift.

Only his vow remained, echoing through the pass: “Loyalty and courage are carved into my bones and burned into the Blood Talisman!”
