Bloodmist Mad Blade

“No matter how fast your gears turn, they’ll never be faster than my blade!”

Red light seeps from the dragon eyepatch over Xiao Nuo’s left eye (Bloodline Rampage: 30%). The blood mist kicked up by his Crimson Flame Blade explodes amid a heap of gear soldiers. It is the seventh day since he clawed his way out of the Blood Crystal Wasteland.

The Iron Dusk Duchy’s meat-grinder gear guns roar, bullets spinning toward his red-scaled battle cloak, only to ricochet off its scales with sharp clangs and flying sparks. He bares his teeth in a wild laugh, gripping his black-iron blade with his dragon-blood prosthetic hand. “Your gears will rust. My blade won’t go dull!”

When the dragon patterns on all three demonic blades blaze at once, the blood mist coalesces into the phantom of a crimson dragon. “Remember: what smashed your mechs was the dragon blood of Canglan, not gears!”
