The Moonlit Cage

[Dual heroines + confinement] Shangguan Qingli was cast out during a power struggle within her family and became a helpless orphan. One rainy night, she was unexpectedly discovered by Nangong Aoyue, heir to the Nangong family. Love-struck at first sight, Nangong Aoyue took her back to her estate, supposedly to protect her, but in reality to keep her captive. At first, Shangguan Qingli was terrified and resisted. But under Nangong Aoyue’s forceful tutelage, she gradually surrendered, and her feelings quietly began to change. Using this unusual “bond,” Nangong Aoyue brought Shangguan Qingli’s family forces together with her own. Amid the tangle of power and emotion, the two became each other’s only refuge. Nangong Aoyue’s forceful devotion and Shangguan Qingli’s journey from resistance to surrender tell the story of an unusual love that blossoms inside a cage.
