Ancient Chronicles of Mountains and Seas

A continuation and reimagining based in part on the Classic of Mountains and Seas and various myths...

The wondrous adventures and experiences of mythological tales...

Si Yu transmigrates into another world and finds himself in the midst of mythological stories, searching for the truth behind them...

He discovers that the truth here differs from what he knows by only the tiniest margin, yet that tiny difference leads to a world of difference. The more he learns, the more he realizes he has arrived in the Origin World. Determined to create his own mythology, he will carry his will to other universes...

(In ancient chaos, at the dawn of the universe, there was no life or awareness.

After who knows how long, a space formed within the chaos: the Origin. Then the Origin gathered all the essence of chaos to create a being. The being traveled through the Origin and the chaos, finding nothing but chaos and darkness. It decided to repay the Origin. Time had no meaning in the Origin, and who knows how long passed...

With boundless power, the being formed an incredibly dense, blazing-hot singularity. When it exploded, the Origin began to expand and fracture: one Origin became three thousand universes, each universe held three thousand worlds, and each world contained three thousand realms...

The being also transformed into all things, and its will scattered throughout the Origin...

Billions upon billions of years later...

In one vast universe, within one vast world, an event known to all and familiar to everyone was unfolding. The event's protagonist was named Pangu, and the event was none other than Pangu Creating the World. Similar or identical events would later unfold in other universes and worlds, so the worlds in this universe came to be known as the Origin World.)
