Amid the turmoil of East Asia in the late sixteenth century, a stirring epic of nations and destiny unfolded. Japan's regent, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, grew ever more ambitious. Under the pretext of "borrowing a road to attack the Ming," he brazenly sent an army of 160,000 across the sea to invade Korea. In just twenty days, the Korean capital, Hanseong, fell. King Seonjo fled in disarray, the people were slaughtered, the land lay shattered, and cries of grief filled the skies.
At the time, the Ming had only just emerged from the Ningxia Campaign, and its strength had yet to recover. But when its tributary state pleaded desperately for help, the Wanli Emperor resolutely ordered troops to be sent, declaring, "Korea is our tributary state. If the lips perish, the teeth will grow cold." Li Rusong was entrusted with command in the face of crisis. Leading 40,000 elite troops equipped with heavy weapons such as breech-loading cannons and crouching tiger cannons, he set out to aid Korea. From the resolute decision to send troops in the midst of crisis to the triumphant first victory at Pyongyang; from the tense stalemate at Byeokjegwan to the troops' perseverance in battle, and finally the stirring conclusion at the Battle of Noryang.
Our Ming soldiers gave their lives and shed their blood, raising a wall of justice and peace on foreign soil with iron will and fearless courage, and composing a heroic anthem that resounded across the land.
The book is divided into five chapters and runs to about 400,000 characters. It vividly and meticulously portrays every unforgettable moment in the Ming campaign to aid Korea, leaving readers deeply moved!

I just read the beginning, the writing is very good, I had a feeling it would be a good book, but I was surprised that there is no rating.
The content is exciting, the plot is tense, and it's super interesting to watch.
