The Last Starlight

When Hou Xiaoyang was four, his parents mysteriously disappeared, and he was sent to Sunshine Welfare Institute. For eighteen years, he lived with loneliness and unanswered questions, finding warmth only in the care of Director Chen. Shortly before graduating from high school, Hou Xiaoyang began having strange dreams and auditory hallucinations. At night, he saw eerie blue light, and his body started reacting abnormally, though he had no idea these were signs that his supernatural abilities were awakening. One rainy night, while returning from work, Hou Xiaoyang was hunted by a group of men in black. At the critical moment, a surge of blue energy burst from within him and drove them back. He was rescued by a mysterious woman named Mo Yu. Mo Yu revealed to Hou Xiaoyang that a hidden world of supernatural ability users existed, and that his parents had once been important figures in it. Their disappearance was connected to an organization called the "Pure World Society." Hou Xiaoyang learned that he had inherited his family's "Starlight" ability, and that his awakening had attracted the attention of various forces. From then on, his peaceful life was utterly shattered.
