Wang Junkai: I Don't Want to Be Your Stepsister

Wang Junkai and Lin Yuan are siblings with no blood relation, yet they are as close as vines entwined around a tree trunk. Though not bound by blood, they have become an indispensable source of warmth in each other’s lives.

Cheng Xikai is Lin Yuan’s classmate. During breaks, he is always sneaking glances at her profile as she bends over her schoolwork. Her ponytail sways with her laughter, like a ray of sunshine brightening his youth. He collects every scrap of paper she leaves behind and sketches her outline in pencil in the corner. A secret crush is a silent tide; every ebb and flow is filled with thoughts of her.

The bond between siblings is a quiet harbor, while a boy’s secret feelings are like the rising and falling tide. Time gently weaves it all into a poem of youth.
