Run! A Madman's Confession of Love

After arguing with her boyfriend, Lin Xingwan decides to travel and clear her mind, but during a torrential downpour, she slips and falls into an undeveloped mountain wilderness.

When she wakes up, she finds that she has been rescued by a Miao youth adorned with elaborate silver ornaments. She is in a mysterious village cut off from the outside world: the Miao Gu Village.

A Jin is the heir to the village's Gu Deity. He is unstable and possessive, and becomes obsessively fixated on Lin Xingwan because the dimples she gets when she smiles resemble those of his late mother. He imprisons her in the village.

Lin Xingwan desperately tries to escape, but A Jin's snake gu frightens her off. Then, during a confrontation, he forcibly takes her, and she can never escape again.
