A young cultivator cast out of the “Sanctuary of Light” is exiled to the “Land of Dark Tides,” forgotten by the world. He once served the light devoutly and possessed a body capable of sensing divine revelations. But an inadvertent ritual let him glimpse a rift at the “End of Light.”
In this land, where ancient gods have fallen and echoes of the old gods linger, he embarks on a supernatural path no one dares to tread: the “Path of the Silent.”
There is no light here, only whisperers in the eternal night, wandering poets wearing thorned masks, apprentices who sacrifice their sanity for knowledge, believers who draw with bone ash, and the corpses of gods that still breathe.
He learns to hide his identity and listen in silence to the world’s incantations. He sacrifices his “memories” to obtain his first forbidden potion, then distills “lies” into tools to craft holy relics meant to deceive the gods alone.
In the end, he discovers that every “faith” in this world is merely a parasite left behind by the gods to prolong their own consciousness.
And he will become the last witness.
