The heroine Shen Qinghe, a martial arts heroine, awakens in the body of the Mist Village orphan Suigetsu Qinghe, trapped in the desperate Bloody Mist Village. She tempers her chakra with the principles of martial arts from another world and holds fast to the Way of Xia Lan, kindling a glimmer of hope amid the slaughter. Her peerless beauty and unusual bearing send ripples through the undercurrents of the Mist Village, like a stone tossed into a stagnant pool. A taciturn young Kaguya silently protects her, a genius of the Hozuki clan both loves and resents her, and the future Mizukage sees in her the seeds of change. Affection and murderous intent intertwine; love and schemes dance together. Amid a treacherous whirlpool of power and burning passions, Qinghe must carve out a path of chivalry of her own, wielding the mortal world as her blade to pierce the veil of bloody mist.
