Staying in This Summer

The story begins in 2018. Jiang Qiucheng meets Xiao Ye at the little shop owned by her friend Song Tong's family.

Great people are bound to attract each other. Jiang Qiucheng doesn't know how she fell for Xiao Ye, but she can't help wanting to get closer to him. Xiao Ye never imagined that, in his miserable life, he would meet a girl he could love.

Their names fit together so well: “Rustling leaves send a chill, while autumn winds over the river stir a traveler's heart.” Perhaps Heaven envied Xiao Ye, so it took him away. Jiang Qiucheng had meant to look ahead and keep moving, but how could Heaven let her go? Her father exploited her, her mother secretly changed her college application, and before she could clear up a misunderstanding with her uncle, he was in a car accident and left in a vegetative state.

So, just like the person she loved, she remained in this summer!
