Renegade Immortal: The Way of Xuan Chen

Set in the world of Renegade Immortal, this story unfolds from the perspective of a new character, Xuan Chen. A cultivator from the lower realm known as the Starfall Abyss, Xuan Chen was born with the Inverse Dust Eye, which lets him glimpse flaws in the foundations of other cultivators' Dao. This gift also marks him as an outcast, and he grows up hunted from a young age. By chance, he comes into possession of a broken jade bearing the name Wang Lin. Following the aura within it, he enters the vast sea of stars that is the cultivation world.

In the story, Xuan Chen will meet Wang Lin in the Luotian Star Domain. Starting with mutual suspicion, the two eventually stand side by side as they face the threat of the Extraterritorial Dao-Devouring Clan. The clan feeds on cultivators' Dao intent, leaving shattered Dao foundations and chaotic laws in its wake. Its leader, Faceless, possesses the uncanny ability to devour all forms of Dao magic. When Xuan Chen's Inverse Dust Eye clashes with Wang Lin's Karma Dao, they not only uncover the mystery of the Dao-Devouring Clan's origins, but also become entangled in a shocking secret left behind by the ancient World Forgers. It turns out that every act of defiance in the cultivation world is part of a cycle of reincarnation laid out by the World Forgers.
