[The Necromancer Just Wants a Peaceful Life]
From the start, I open my eyes to a boiling iron pot. Two werewolves are sprinkling black pepper over Morin
“This one’s so tender. A little rosemary will make it even tastier!”
Morin: “?”
He turns and mutters at the broken bones beneath the pot: “Rise!”
A pale skeleton snaps together. Its bone knife points at the werewolves’ faces. “Now, let’s talk about who’s the meat in the pot.”
Werewolves: “!!!”
Didn’t I select the “peaceful retirement” option? System, get out here. I promise I won’t rip out your core program!
To stay alive, Morin is forced to become the hardest-working champion in all three realms
Player faction: “Lin, you’re incredible! You can take 108 lashes of holy light and still munch on roast chicken. You’re the eternal god of martial arts and church brawling!”
Boss faction: “Boss is hiding his true strength! The skeleton soldiers are undercover, carrying holy swords. That move gets a perfect score from me!”
Native faction: “Prophet, save us! Your little skeletons use Spirit-Slayer techniques to chop firewood and cook, and they can even soothe crying werewolf pups. You’re amazing!”
Caught between the three factions, Morin looks at the little succubus in his arms, sipping bone-bud milk tea, and the skeleton holding a holy sword to chop firewood.
“Keep it down! Can’t you see I’m sneaking a chicken? Is a peaceful life really that hard?”
Until one day, the players, bosses, and natives all show up at his door
“Boss/Prophet/Lin, it’s time to unite the three realms!”
Morin: “…”
I just want to be a lazy fish! Can you stop forcing me to be the savior?!
