Love Yet to Be Named

BE

The stars scatter, the rain drifts away, but love lingers unresolved. Beneath the ivy, I waited for you year after year.

“Then I, Zhou Xingli, wish Yan Yusan and Yan Yan a bright future and a long, long life!”

A seemingly aloof but actually lively and sensitive policewoman x an optimistic, shy forensic doctor

One rainy day in high school, Zhou Xingli happened to help a boy on her way home. She then unexpectedly discovered that her mother and his mother had been best friends in high school, so the two of them had no choice but to live under the same roof. As time went by, Yan Yusan was the first to fall in love with Zhou Xingli. During college, Yan Yusan worked up the courage to confess, and the two became a couple. But while on a call, Zhou Xingli died in the line of duty. Yan Yusan, who had inherited a serious illness, passed away a few years later.

“Zhou Xingli, I love you, but you’re the one person I never want to see when I’m at work.”

“I’ve watched the tapes you recorded again and again, but you’re the one thing I can never get back.”
