Other people start with a System. Zhang Zizai starts with nothing but an heirloom crock of pickled cabbage. Don't laugh! This crock can pickle anything!
Wailing ghosts? Pickled into appetizers!
Chaos ice essence? Refined and upgraded into flawless ice!
Even the seed of reincarnation nurtured at the bottom of the Bone-Burying River was tricked into the crock by him. He named it Tangyuan, and it became his sweet little darling! He even awakened the heaven-defying skill [Reincarnation Rebirth]: as long as he isn't completely dead, pickle him in the barrier and he'll come back at full health! His teammates cry out, "Divine Zhang! Please let us cling to your crock!"
But Zhang Xianyu, who had effortlessly conquered the Bone-Burying River dungeon, has now angered the ultimate BOSS: the Kunlun Demon Eye! This sinister old schemer plotted for ten thousand years, coveting the power of reincarnation, only to have Zhang Zizai uproot everything he had built, crock and all. The Demon Eye trembles with rage: "Pickle crock! I will never rest until you are dead!"
And so, the wonderfully oddball adventuring party sets out once more:
* Number One Fanboy, Leader of the Celestial Masters' Mansion, Zhang Zhiwei (turns his Golden Light Spell into golden needles)
* Cool and aloof Sword Immortal, Head of the Shu Mountain Sect, Li Taibai (his steel-cutting sword severs laws)
* Reincarnated Medicine Immortal, Team Healer, Su Yaoyao (wears you down with endless regeneration)
* Mad Scientist, Heir to the Heavenly Secrets, Zhuge Tiezhu (uses a death ray to annihilate you)
* Furious Vajra, Abbot of Shaolin, Shi Yongxin (teaches you a lesson with a parrying-blade counterstrike)
Their destination: the Nine Nether Forbidden Lands, where the Demon Eye's minions have gathered: the **Ten Thousand Poisons Marsh**!
Poisonous miasma blotting out the sun? Swarms of venomous insects? A tentacle of the Demon Eye lurking in the Ten Thousand Poisons Cave?
Zhang Zizai weighs the humming pickle crock in his hands as Tangyuan bubbles with excitement. He grins:
"Pickled chili venomous bugs, poison miasma for brine... This one's in the bag."
